Colosseum Private Tours

This tour was different than everything else we did in Italy. The bone chapel is both eerie and fascinating at the same time. The bones are arranged in artful ways, and it was interesting to hear about the Capuchin monks. The catacombs were also very interesting, and it was great to go after hours as we had the place to ourselves. The bus ride out there was also interesting as we passed the forum, Coliseum and Circus Maximus. Be sure to take water, and a snack for the bus would be good.

My thought when I saw the price was we’d only get a busride to get us to Pompeii and back! But I was pleasantly surprised! Claudia, our tourguide, was absolutely magnificent and gave us plenty of information, tips and hints. She helped us in every way possible and was willing and able to give more information about Rome (the place we stayed).

My wife and I wanted to make sure we had the full tour with all access for the Colosseum. We looked and found many had this but they were either too full or too much money. Then we found it on Do Travel. It had the exact time we wanted and was a good price. When we got there, it was exactly what we wanted and tour guide was very engaging and knowledgeable. As well the Do Travel agent checked on us a few times to make sure all was going well. It was a memorable experience for sure.

We truly enjoyed this tour of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. The tour guide was very good and made sure that we got the full experience of the Colosseum from all levels including the underground passages. The tour of the Roman Forum was excellent as well. Our guide had an extensive knowledge base and guided us through perfectly with no waiting in lines.

Our guide was extraordinarily educated and enthusiastic about the and history of the Vatican and Italy. Alfio clarified the importance of all that we found in detail and cleared up its specific circumstance. Much obliged to you, it was a just stunning knowledge, we particularly appreciated the visit.

I really enjoyed my whole day trip in Florence -- it was well organized and I felt we got to do a little of everything. The only things I would ask for more clarification are meeting times in the beginning of the trip. Overall the trip was amazing!
