Discoverd the real Vatican

It was my 4th time that I have visited the Vatican city, but this tour took us to a different area and show us places normally closed for the general public.

Unique

This tour was different than everything else we did in Italy. The bone chapel is both eerie and fascinating at the same time. The bones are arranged in artful ways, and it was interesting to hear about the Capuchin monks. The catacombs were also very interesting, and it was great to go after hours as we had the place to ourselves. The bus ride out there was also interesting as we passed the forum, Coliseum and Circus Maximus. Be sure to take water, and a snack for the bus would be good.

  • Don’t forget your camera - You’ll have lots of memories you’ll want to preserve!
  • Bring money - A souvenir is a great way to remember your visit. Rosaries, crucifixes, books, stamps, and coins (the Vatican has its own mint) are some great available options for souvenirs!
