Very efficient; no stress;

Me and my partner have travelled to a few places and used the hop on hop off service but this honestly is by far the best hop on hop off we’ve ever done, it takes you literally all round barcelona which we wouldn’t have done by foot, I defiantly recommend this for whoever is considering, 100 per cent worth the money and worth getting then 2day tour.

A very interesting building to discover and the audio guide works well as you walk through the different parts of the building. Lots of interesting things to learn about the architect Antoni Gaudi and his work.

  • With your Sagrada Familia audio guide, discover the significance of the interior columns that stretch up to the ceiling and branch out like forest trees to support the structure.
  • Reflect on Gaudi’s belief that nature and spirituality go hand in hand - that you can never be closer to God than in nature. A self-guided Sagrada Familia tour allows you to quietly lose yourself in this transcendent space.

The beautiful patterns and colors that reflect off of the walls and ceilings, coming from thoughtfully placed windows, accentuate a sense of harmony and invite introspection.
  • Your Sagrada Familia guided tour brings to light the details of Gaudi’s cathedral, explaining the intricate methods in which the stained glass windows were made and the meanings behind them.

When most people think of Barcelona, the Sagrada Familia springs to mind. This is an iconic image all around the world. Take in all the awe-inspiring beauty on one of the best Sagrada Familia tours; make the moment last forever. Here are some ideas for the best shots for that preserving your memorable moment:

  • Nativity façade from Plaça de Gaudí: The best angle for the “big picture” is from the square opposite, as you can see the legendary Basilica rising above (and reflected in) the lake below.
  • Passion & Death: The haunting Golgotha scene by Josep Maria Subirachs.
  • Tortoise at the base of the column: Look at the bottom of the two main columns before you and you will see a tortoise and a turtle. Together they represent land and sea. In the same way as stone freezes time, so will your photo capture these carved animals forever.

If you buy online, Barcelona Sagrada Familia tickets are a bit more expensive (starting from €25, depending on the season), however, it’s still better to pay a small fee than spend two hours standing in a queue.
