First, we will have a leisurely stroll around Kensington Gardens and learn about the part Hyde Park played in London’s development. We will see the beautiful gardens Prince Albert created for his wife Queen Victoria. Approaching the Long Water we admire the Peter Pan Statue installed by J M Barrie in 1912. Continuing our walk, we will take in the spectacular views as we approach the Palace where Prince Harry and William grew up while also discovering the statue of their late mother, Princess Diana, which stands in the mesmerizing sunken garden.
We will then stroll to the 18th Century Tea Room created by Queen Anne whilst giving you fascinating insights into our Royal family and the intriguing history behind our national drink as you select from the extensive menu. Set in the beautiful parkland of Kensington Gardens, Kensington Palace is most well known for being home to members of the Royal Family like Princess Diana, Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate (along with Princes George, Louis, and Princess Charlotte).
Dating from the 17th century, the Palace is open all year round for visitors, normally from Wednesday to Sunday.
