What you'll do

With instant access, you won’t waste a precious moment of your time with your private guide. And a good thing too – all of our guides are experts in their field and fluent English speakers. The perfect people to lead your journey through the Vatican Museums, tailoring your experience to suit your interests and needs and answering all the questions you may have.

Choose to explore parts of the Vatican Museums that interest you or opt for our classic Vatican route. Our classic highlights tour visits the Sistine Chapel, the Raphael Rooms and a diverse range of galleries covering ancient Greek and Roman sculptures, maps, tapestries and precious relics.[readmore]Whatever you choose, rest assured that your guide will be the perfect host – well-versed in the history, art and architecture of the Vatican and able to answer all of your questions. Experience the masterpieces of the Vatican at a higher level when you spot the little details and hear the stories behind the artworks. Particularly entertaining at the Sistine Chapel where Michelangelo painted his personal vendettas and private jokes into The Last Judgement, or at The Raphael Rooms where Sylvester Stallone makes an unexpected appearance.

From the Sistine Chapel, we’ll use a special access door to gain entry directly to St. Peter’s Basilica. This saves us from having to leave the Museums, walk 20 minutes to the general access entrance and wait for an hour in line. Inside the Basilica your guide will walk you through the stunning artworks held inside, the monumental carved altar and the incredible architecture of Christianity’s most iconic church. In just three hours you’ll see the very best of the Vatican on our Private Vatican Tours.

Take your time in some areas of the Museums, talking about the pieces that interest you and simply skip the parts that don’t. With an expert, English-speaking guide to yourself, you have all the time you need to get the best from this experience and with No Wait Access and all tickets and reservation fees accounted for (plus headsets on groups of five people or more), we take all the hassle out of your once-in-a-lifetime Vatican Experience.
