In 2012, the patios of Cordoba were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Originating from Roman times, they allow us to imagine the lifestyle that existed more than 1000 years ago in the city of Córdoba. Since 1921, a competition has been organized during the first two weeks of May to see who can decorate a patio the best: a sort of garden design competition but on a patio!
