Guide was good. Equipment wasn’t.

Our guide was knowledgeable and got us to everything we were supposed to see including shortcuts around museum. However when she left us at the end she didn’t give us our tickets so we couldn’t get back to the other wing. Museum didn’t allow us to enter other section without our ticket. We were impressed that she was able to show us as much as she did. The equipment/ transmitter that we had kept cutting in and out so we could not hear. She attempted to resolve it but other equipment didn’t work either

Wow Guide!

The lady that we had was filling in for someone that had family emergency at the last minute. The lady was exceptional in her knowledge, delivery and rapport, she was happy to be there, she was incredibly enthusiastic even in the 38°c sun. She consistently made sure everyone could hear her and waited patiently for my Mum and her partner to make the climb up the stairs. I’ve never had a guided tour before and only booked it as we were unable to get tickets for the day we had spare in our visit to Paris. But I have to say I would so use this service again and again. Highly recommended from us all.

Paris Museum Pass Tips

  • Your Paris Museum Card activates the moment you use it at your first museum and remains valid for the number of days you’ve purchased it. Consequently, it is recommended to use it in the morning, so you have the whole day to make the most of the card’s benefits.
  • Validating your ticket - Wait until you’re about to enter the first museum to write your name and date on the back of the card. As soon as you fill in these details, in front of the ticket agent, your pass is activated and its validity starts running from that time forward.
  • Note museum closures - One day a week most of the Paris monuments and museums are closed. Check which ones will be closed before you visit.
  • European Union citizens under the age of 26, hold the right of free access for all museums and cultural attractions.
  • Permanent Collections - Your Paris Museum Pass includes access to only the permanent collections. Temporary exhibitions and special events require a separate ticket to enter, which you purchase at the entrance.
