Uffizi with Manuel

The tour was very compact and interesting. We expected a tour of two hours and were finished within 1-1,5 hours. Still it was a intersting tour with a competent guide who seems to know the history and some additional stories. The group was not too big. As for the meeting point I like to recommend to put a sign outside the street or inform the participants not just about the adress, but also where to ring, floor, room nr.

Do Travel has a great service...we got last minute tickets to a Garden (Boboli Gardens) and a museum (Uffizi Museum) in Florence. The tickets seemed to be sold out on the respective websites, but Do Travel had tickets available for only 2 Euros more as a convenience fee. The only problem was that the website was unclear in telling us that we had to redeem the code we were given for the actual entrance tickets. The box office at Boboli Gardens had never heard of Do Travel and would not let us in. We didn't realize that we had to meet a Do Travel employee at a pre-arranged meeting spot in order to receive our paper tickets to go in. We were frustrated and ended up buying more tickets for the garden. When we looked more closely at the information for the museum, we did see there was a meeting spot. When we reached the meeting spot, the employee was super nice and the exchange of tickets was fast and smooth. We found out that another employee had been waiting for us at the garden meeting spot for over an hour. So we did feel guilty that he waited for us in the heat, but again, I feel that if the website had been clearer about the steps we had to take, the confusion wouldn't have happened. Overall a fantastic service, but please be clearer on the website as to how people can collect their tickets to enter the sites.

Duomo Florence tickets

Florence was an amazing city and booking these tickets was a great idea by my husband. It saved us so much time which would of been spent queueing to go to the top of the Duomo!
