Historic Sites
Like most of Italy, there are some incredible historic sites in Olbia which date back to the Roman period and further beyond. One of the oldest Italian sites can be found in Olbia: the Nuraghe Riu Mulinu, which is a stone fortress that dates back to the Bronze Age and offers stunning panoramic views over the sea. The Basilica de San Simplico is an 11th-century church, which is arguably the city’s most famous building.
