Well organised but uninspiring guide

Tour was easy to find and we got into the colosseum quickly. Group size was good compared to other tours we saw. Easy to hear guide. We were a little disappointed in our guide who seemed to disapprove of tourists. Although he told us lots of interesting facts about the history and architecture he went off on tangents with too much useless information.

Clear informative and guide made it interesting

Marko was our tour guide and did such an incredible job! He seemed so passionate about the history of Rome and explained it in a way that was easy to understand for people with little to no knowledge. I had the most wonderful time and would definitely book again!

We spent two weeks in Italy, and this tour was exceptional. It lived up to our expectations and even excceded them! There were around 15 other people in the tour plus us. It was an exceptionally busy and crowded day, however, our guide got us in very quickly and the experience was great. The underground tour was an absolute highlight. The Roman Forum was also impressive. This tour is totally worth the money - make sure you wear comfy shoes and have some water with you!

Coliseum and forum

The meeting points were very messy, going back and forth to different locations and quite frustrating. First part of the tour in the coliseum we went on our own, second part of the tour at palatine hill and the forum we decided to stay with the guide ‘gladiator guide’ he was extremely knowledgeable and made the experience well worth it and we left with lots of valuable information.
